Overlapping toes won’t stay down
For as far back as I recall my 2nd toes on both feet have had a tendancy to move up onto my big toes when I lift my feet up. It’s gotten worse over the last couple years to the point where my right toe overlaps all the time and I can’t make it touch the floor at all. My left one is not as bad but it’s gotten worse as well. Do you know what causes this? I’ve never broken any toes and I don’t think I have bunions as it doesn’t look like it and I don’t have any pain. No other relations that I know of have toes like this.

Heredity can be one cause. This problem can be due to slippage of a tendon causing an imbalance. You probably need to see a podiatrist for further evaluation.
