Pain after running.

Ever since about a month ago I have this pain located right above my ankle. The location is about where the side of my shin is.
If I were to stand up and stare down at it I have to look down between my legs and right above my ankles about 2 inches high.
Its on both of my legs.
If I were to press on it, it would hurt a lot.
Now everytime after I play about 15 mins of basketball, and barely any running (barely) mostly jumping, it feels like that part where it hurts is takin all the shock. If I were to walk all day, I wouldn’t feel a thing, but once I run or jog, “Oh man I am in deep trouble.” If I were to press on the part that hurts right now, it feels like its my bone that hurts, cause that is all I can feel on the inner side of shin. (both legs) do you know what I should do??? how do I make this pain go away? What is this injury I have? Thanks for your patients.

That depends on how bad is the tendon injured. If you have a tear, then no, I would not recommend massage. If you have a mild tendonitis, then I would recommend heel lifts, ice, ultrasound, anti-inflammatories etc.
