Pain in back of heel
About a week ago, I went back to normal shoewear after wearing a walking boot on my left foot for almost two months due to broken metatarsals.
Shortly thereafter, I developed a pain in the back of my left heel.
This pain only occurs when I am walking.
However, it doesn’t occur when my heel hits the ground, but rather when my left foot begins its upward motion and the weight shifts to the ball of the foot.
Could this just be my heel getting used to having normal pressure put on it again, or do I need to go back to my podiatrist?
Thanks for any advice.Jordan

Your best bet is to see your podiatrist and discuss this. To see is to know, not to see is to guess.
