Pain Is Back In Wrist!

I had surgery to remove a ganglyon cyst caused by dequarvins tendonitis about 2 and a half years ago. I was back to normal until about 2 months ago when flare ups started comming back. I wake up in the middle of the night with screaming cramps in my fingers and hand. I have been putting ice on my wrist and massaging the tendon. The muscle in my forearm is tight and painful as well. What are my options now? Is this something that can come back? Will I have to have surgery again? Did they maybe not repair the tendon properly the first time? Thank You for your time.
