pain on top of foot
i know this is silly.
i slipped in my kitchen wearing socks. banged my foot didn’t think anything of this. fo approx. 2hrs. cleaning house etc. I was on the comp. and went to get up.just about fell on a table can’t hold weight on my foot when its flat.its not swollen I do not have true mobility, im elevating it and because its sat. night going to put ice but the pain seems to radiate upwards towards the knee.??i have a pretty good pain tolerance .but this is annoying. id like to wait till sun noon to call the dr. don’t really want to go to the er? is cold the best or warm for temp treatment??

Yes warts are contagious. Viral diseases are all transmittable, but not everyone who is exposed will get it. One way to avoid warts is to avoid contact. As far as prevention, I’m not sure socks represent a solid barrier. The virus particles are shed and certainly can get through. I am not aware of any published study that documents effective and proven prevention of warts. Most information is anecdotal. I am sorry I can’t give you absolute information, but warts can be unpredictable.
