Pain underneath front of left foot. Bonion located on same foot

I have been diagnosed with arthritis.
Both of my feet have severe bonions.
However is only my left foot that have been hurting for the past four months.
The pain is located underneath at the front of my foot.
My second toe is covering my thirth toe. The pain has increased underneath the thirth toe and next to it in both sides. I’m having difficulty walking more each day.
I’m taking 800 miligrams of motrin three times a day.
What can I do.
I’m employed and I have no insurance therefore, I can afford the cost of a podiatrist.
I have called several places and the consultation is $125.00 and up. I am a single mom with four children.

Assuming you see a podiatrist and surgery is recommended, the $125 will be a drop in the hat of what surgery would cost. Do you live near a College of Podiatric Medicine? There may be treatment available at a reduced rate. Without examining your feet, I can’t tell you what my recommendations would be.
