Pain when I take a step
I can’t figure out exactly where my injury is. When I take a step with my right leg, there is a generalized pain in my upper thigh-hip region. This is exacerbated when I run and even just running for two days at low mileage (3 mi.) gives me a limp that lasts about another day.
This injury was caused from a very hilly half-marathon almost two months ago, but it was never a severe, acute pain. However, I haven’t been able to support my normal running schedule since then because whenever I do I end up limping.
I’m wondering what the specific injury is, how long I will need to be out of commission, and if there is anything I can do to help or speed up the healing?
