Pea-sized lump on left upper shoulder/neck area.
(4 discussions)
I have a small lump that I found on my upper shoulder/neck area and I have been having neck pains that run up into the neck area from where the lump is.
It is on a muscle and the actual lump does not hurt to the touch. Could it be a knot from exercise? A pinched nerve? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have a small 3cm lump on the back of my neck sitting on a cervical vertibrae. There is also a numb area a little lower down the spine. I await a scan. What might this be.

I have a lump on my shoulder just a bit bigger than a pea. A chiropractor said it might be a synovial cyst, and an orthopedist said it might be a harmless lycoma. It’s painless, and it’s not deep in my muscle, but seems to be just under the skin.
