Pec problems

I just wanted some info on if this is normal. I just started working out two weeks ago and I was doing chest the other day. When I woke up the next morning my right pec muscle seemed misshapen. It looked as if some of the muscle had slipped onto the middle part of my chest where the bone is. I do not feel any pain but I was just wondering if this is normal and will it heal on its own or should I see someone about it? Thanks for any help.
