:Well, about 12 years ago when I started school we needed 2 years of prerequisites then we could apply for PT school, which was another 2 years. But, now it’s about 3 years because most programs are masters programs. You do not need an associates degree, just the amount of classes that the school requires. Call the college you would like to go to PT school and ask for the PT dept. They can send you a schedule of all the classes you need. You will also need 250 volunteer or paid hours in a PT setting. This may have changed, check with your school. Good luck
