Piriformis Muscle w/Sciatica

My leg pain with sciatica has been caused by problems with this muscle, so I have been told, on my right side.
I gave been given exercises to perform by my therapist with little relief.
I wonder if visits to a chiropracter would help with this problem.
I have very little back pain on my right side with this.

I’ve suffered from a severe pain down the left hand side of my leg for about six years, I feel as if someone was twisting a hot knife inside my leg, concentrating on my hip, knee and ankle. It send’s sickening shooting pain’s down the whole leg making it hard to move without causing me extreme discomfort, and leading to me being doubled over in pain on the floor. I used to get it about once a month from a week to two and a half week’s, now it’s becoming a constant problem. I’m 31 with a large family of boy’s which is very hetic and demanding on me and I’m unable to do a lot of things with my family because of this problem. I am waiting for an appointment and have been for a long time to see what I can do to make my life more comftable and to see if I can cure the problem. I’m at my wit’s end. Do you think it is sciatica and how could I ease the pain. I also suffer from extreme numbness in my hand’s leaving me with painful pin’s and needles in both hand’s, I wake in the middle of thr night with excruciating pain and have to get up and hang my arm’s down to get the feeling back, it sometimes happens when I walk about or just sitting around. Ny doctor told me I have good curculation and has referred me to a specialist, could you please give me any information on what my problem’s could be and what I could do to try and help myself ease the pain.

I am a 50 years old women, I am living with my husband as I getting to work from past two months I getting a problems of feeling numbness in left hand and left leg. Can I know the reason why I am getting this problems. Why I am facing these numbness in the hands and legs. I did not went to meet any doctor regarding this problems. Plz tell me why I am getting this problems.

I have piriformis muscle/sciatica pain in my left hip and leg….esp. just above the ankle which now FEELS numb when I stand (but not to the touch) should that be a concern?
