plantar faciitis

Hi,
Ihave been in night splints for 10 days . I have done very little walking for 3 wks.
I’ve worn the splints 3 to 4 hours a day plus meds. The pain has gotten about 75% better, but I still feel pain on the outside of the heals,also I have noticed that when I take 40mg of zocor the pain is back to 100%, COULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKYOU CAROL
