Dear Sir,

Please refer to the above mentioned subject, I am having above heel spur in my left foot from since last 8 months I had taken tablets but could not control the pain also I do massage and exercise (putting the left foot in warm salt water for 30 mins ), I have not taken the steroids injection(I fear it may jeopardise my career) in my foot as my daily work is standing I am using heel cushions in my feet due to which pain is not felt. Can You please suggest me other options.

Plantar fasciitis is due to overstretching of the tendinous band that supports the arch. There are many different types of arch supports that may be helpful, but there is not one that works the same on everyone. I do not normally find heel cushions helpful for this problem. There are arch supports you can buy online. Generally, the more rigid = more support. Softness is not supportive. It is impossible to tell which would be the right one for you without examining your feet and gait.
