Plantar fibromotosis and fasciitis

(2 discussions)

I have plantar fasciitis symptoms of the arch and metatarsalpain but no heel pain.
However, the main problem isplantar fibromotosis modules in the arch of the right foot which is too painful to do the suggested stretchingfor my right foot (no problem streching with my left foot). Is there any thing that can be done about the plantarfibromotosis modules? Thanks for ANY help for this cripplying disease—-

I have severe pain in my right heel from what has been diagnosed by a podiatrist as plantar fasciitis. I have been given three corizone shots,ani-inflamatory medication, and told to stretch and ice. My pain is increasing instead of decreasing. I have talked to others who suffer from the same thing and say they have been told not to stretch. I need to find some relief soon before it drives my crazy. I am an active person and this has made me slow down to an unconfortable leve. Please give me some advice on how best to cure/releave the pain and go on with normal living. thank you
