plantar nerve pain

I’m having pain in my plantar nerves (medial) after getting a massage in my calf muscles.
It is worse when I’m seated..
Have I pinched nerve or or will this irritation go away?
What’s the best position to rest in (seated, lying down?)while I wait to see a podiatrist?

This might be a pinched nerve in your back or leg or even tarsal tunnel syndrome. This can have many causes, so the best thing to do is experiment with whatever position is comfortable. Try ice or heat on the area to see if either helps. I agree that you should see a podiatrist. Good luck
