plantar to metatarsalgia

After taking a step aerobicvs class combined with daily walking, my heeel became sore in both feet. The pain radiated tomy ankles, kness and outer rim of the feet. I was told to wear a rigid othodic and walking shoe. Within one moth, I began to experience severe pain in the ball of my feet. Especially between the 3rd and 4th toes. I also developed callouses between by big toe and 2nd toe on the balls of my feet. I have received conflicting opinions and three months later, my feet are worse than ever. Is it common for this type of injury to move from plantar to metatasalgia? I have twice been diagnosed with plantar. no one will listen to my complaints about mr other foot pain in the ball of my foot. Has anyone else exoerienced this problem?
