plantar’s warts or metatarsol arch or both

My doctor spotted 4 small plantar’s warts on my left foot (on the ball). The ball of the foot gets quite tender when I golf or walk over 3 or 4 miles.Could the plantar’s warts cause this discomfort alone? Also what is the best way to get rid of the warts (I have used DuoFilm in the past)? I have some organicallygrown Tea Tree Oil .. can it be effective getting rid of warts. Thanks.Pete

Warts are predictibly unpredictable. They do not respond to any treatment universally. If they did, we would all treat them the same way!Yes it is possible that the warts are the cause of your discomfort. They press on underlying nerves in the dermis. I am not aware of Tea tree oil being useful for wart treatment. There are some homeopathic remedies that can be tried, if that is your preference. Thuja and Antimonium are used for warts. I have also tried oral Tagamet. It works better on kids, though
