planter fasciitis-4 yrs of pain

I have had planter fasciitis for four years now.
I was in a car accident which over streched the planter fascia(sp) and I can’t get rid of the pain.
I have tried orthodics and 8 weeks of no use with no results.
Is there a surgery that can help?? please email me with possible solutions.

Amber,4 years is a long time to be suffering with plantar fasciitis! Occasionally, the plantar fascia can be cut which would release the stretch and relieve your pain. 8 weeks of non use **should** have helped considerably with your pain. I think that you should look for more options. Have MRI’s been done? Get another opinion or two or three. Someone in your area should be able to help you.
