planters wart on stomach

I’m 9 months pregnant and am told I have a planters wart that developed when I was about 6 months pregnant. Is this dangerous? What could cause this to happen? It is getting larger now. This looks like it’s a sponge that is splitting. How do I remove it? Is it cancerous? How large will it get? Anybody that knows these answers please email me at [email protected] or yahoo.com. Thank you.Faye

A plantar wart is a wart on the bottom (plantar) surface of the foot. If the wart were on the palm of your hand it would be palmar.Warts are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) of wich there are >75 different ones. They seem to have different area of the body that they grow on. Warts are strictly on the epidermis (outer skin) They are not cancerous.Under no circumstances should you attempt any over the counter treatments. You need to check this out with your ob doctor.
