Post Surgery Difficulty

2 1/2 months ago I had surgery for Morton’s Neuroma.
The ligament between the 3rd and 4th metatarsals was snipped using a minimally invasive technique.
Now I am having much more pain than before, but different pain.
The 4th metatarsal head has dropped and I have a lot of pain at the 2nd and 3rd heads as well.
Also the second toe.
The custom orthotics don’t seem to be helping.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am having similar problems to Darlene’s, and had surgery to remove a Morton’s neuroma 2-1/2 months ago, too. I’m not having pain, but am still having tenderness on the ball of the foot (incision was on top of foot between 3rd and 4th toes). Also, my new custom-made orthotics (which have been adjusted twice in a week) are taking time to get used to. I spoke with the Dr. about my foot tenderness, and he didn’t seem concerned. Where can we learn about what’s normal, and what’s not, for post-neuroma surgery? Thanks.
