In the fall I had posterior tibial tendonitis. I wore an air cast for a month. It got better and now is returning. In addition I now have a mechanical problem with the knee on the same side. The patella seems loose. Could the two be related? I’m concerned that walking with the air cast threw oof my knee and/ did the opposite end of the muscleaway from the foot come into play.

I just had a walking cast removed. Cast had been on x 3wks. I’s still painful.

Can an excessive amount of cortisone shots to the arch of you foot and inside anke, cause a PTT rupture?
