Post-op Rehabilitation
I am to begin rehabilitation tomorrow four weeks post-op after bunion surgery.
Has anyone on the board gone through this and give me some idea as to what to expect. Is it painful during the rehab, or more so after the manipulation and exercise.
Should I take something prior and after the visit (ie: Extra-strength Tylenol, etc.).

I needed to have post-op rehabilitation after my bunion surgery as well. I was really annoyed because they did not tell me this was needed. My problem was flexing my foot and big toe. I was unable to do that so they sent to rehab for 2 months. I had ultrasound and eletrical therapy on the foot as well as exercises. It was painful in the beginning but got better and I knew it was helping me. If you have any questions you can email me.
