Yes, it was underwrapped but I still think that a more fundamental think about how to correct your posture may be required. If you tend to sit at a computer for much of the day then getting the right chair and typing position can make a lot of difference. As I said the taping made me conscious of the need to alter my posture and gage some support to the arm but once off the tendency to sloch came back and I hadn’t sorted out corrective muscle toning.

I am not sure it does have long term benefits in fact but it really makes a difference to the feeling of well being short term and encourages trying to emulate it without the tape. Did you use underwrap to ensure it stayed on longer

I had my shoulder taped following a nerve impingment in my neck which radiated down my right arm. It only served to remind me to keep my shoulders back while it was taped. Within days the tape comes loose and who can shower with it on?

I have recently had a reoccurrence of the neve complaint following a muscle spasm so I
guess it did not improve my posture in the long term.

My advice would be to throw in some pilates exercsise or yoga into your training regime to improve your core body strength, flexibility and postural awareness.
