Pulled Quad

Hello,
My name is Jon and I injured my quad and am not sure really what I did. I hurt it from soccer and whenever I try to kick it, I get the biggest pain in my upper quad. It doesn’t hurt when I run, only when I kick. Can you please let me know what I can do to fix it. I really need to get back to playing and not sitting out. Any advice on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated!!!

    The biggest component of recovery is rest. When did you pull it? I suggest icing and stretching daily and exercise the quad but start out easy. Kicking causes a forceful contraction of the quad and obviously yours is not ready for all that force. Let pain be your guide, listen to your body. Good luck, Mya
