Quadricept contusion – any suggestions on rehab?

I had a severe quad contusion 2 weeks ago. I’m still limping, and my muscle is still tight and weak. I can’t bend my knee past 90 degrees. Healing is much slower than I had hoped. Can someone who is knowledgeable about this injury please suggest what type of stretching and physical therapy I need to get my leg rehabed asap?

I hope u have sorted this problem out by now but if not hopefully this will help you need a friend to help.
you need to warm your quads up first then do a strech extend the knee on a chair/bench until u can go no more (easy movement)
then ur friend will take over and passive stretch for u upto the point just befor u get sharp pain they repeat this for about 15-20 mins (usually about 5-10 degreesof movement)when this has finished cool the muscle (Ice) repeat through the day. when resting between the stretches do not totally release the stretch.
I hope this will help u will gradually get full range back. u can use this method on all muscle strains once u work out there prime function i.e extension of the knee flexion of the hip (quads)
