There are a number of injuries that can cause swelling in your ankles, calves, ect. including tarsal tunnel syndrom. If I remember correctly TTS is where you ankles sort of lean in, right? If you think about it, when doing this you place stress in all sorts of areas that weren’t meant to have it. This could lead to shin splints and a number of other chronic conditions.
