Re: broken foot nerve

My brother was involved in a car accident 2 years ago and damaged the nerve in his foot, due to the ambulance that took too long to get to the accident scene.
He can only move his toes about 1mm and has no feeling in his foot, he also walks with a footstut placed in his shoe. He is in a lot of pain.
I would like to know if u think he will recover the nerve in his foot, how long this will take, what can he do to help him recover the nerve, so he could be healed from his pain. He also has a lot of pain in his knee on the same side as the foot.
He is only 31 and recently they had a baby, so I would like some help, pleaseKind regards

A neurologist would be bestter able to tell you what the prognosis might be. They do various testing on the nerves.
