Recommended exercises for 8 month old baby

Hi, I have an 8 month old baby boy & would like to know if you can help me. Currently, he is able to sit up by himself, with some support now & then however, he is not crawling.
The only thing he does when I put him on his tummy is kick his legs, as if he wants to crawl, but he can’t seem to lift his chest off the ground very well.
He has attempted to drag himself, but he begins to get really frustrated.
I’m a stay-at-home-mom, so I’m always trying to play with him as much as possible, especially tummy time.
He’s never been a big fan of tummy time, but it was something I tried to do with him.
I don’t know if maybe I didn’t put him on his tummy enough, which is why he is currently having problems with crawling.
He has very strong legs & likes to stand up however, he hasn’t attempted to try to pull himself up.
He does like his jumper, which I only keep him on for at least 15 minutes.
I really don’t like to leave him in there too long.
What are your thoughts on jumpers? Am I overly worrying about my son not crawling yet? He turned 8 months on June 4th.
I would greatly appreciate it if you can recommend some good exercises for me to do with him, so that maybe he can build his trunk muscles a little more, to allow him to begin crawling.
Thanks,Patty

Some babies just do those things a little later. I helped my grand daughter by pulling her knees up under her and supporting her elbows getting her into the kneeling position. Then I would rock her forward and back. It’s a learning process of feeling where the position is. Work on this everyday. Some babies delay in crawling if they are left in a walker or a saucer too long during the day. Don’t worry though, the crawling milestone is 8 months…but like I said, some kids are late and some really never crawl at all. Good luck
