recurring bump on foot

I have a bump on the side to top of my foot that keeps coming back. IT started after I was working for several hourssitting on the floor with the side of my foot restingon the floor.
The bump was soft and painful. After a few weeks it went away. But every few months, it returns but,it is hard.
It also hurts more when elevated.

hi I have the exact condition as you and hoped to find an answer on this site. I am diabetic and thought it might have something to do with peripheral neuropathy. my doctor just said I don’t know what it is and gave me some burn creamgood luck finding an answer.
