Recurring pain in the lower, front part of knee

(2 discussions)

I’m experiencing pain in the front, lower part of my knee-almost in the upper part of my shin. Someone suggested that it could be tendonitis in my patella tendon; if that’s the case, is tendonitis normally a chronic injury? Anyone out there know what I’m talking about? If so, what is it, and what’s to do about it?

hi, if it is tendonitus then anti-inflamitries and ice will help but the key is rest. if it aint better in a month then i suggest it isn’t tendonitus and somthing more serious. i was diagnosed with tendonitus for 6 months till someone found out it was plica syndrome.
