reynauds syndrome
(2 discussions)
I am a 19 year old college student with reynauds and my toes turn cold eaisly and occasionally I get purple spots on them.
I try to keep them warm and dry but nothing I do helps with those spots.
They have begun to rub on my shoes making things worse.
Since I need to be able to walk around a very large campus I was wondering if you had any suggestions?
Thanks~Laura

You might want to see an internist who might prescribe a medication to take for the vasospasm that is Raynaud's. Keeping your feet warm will help and make sure your shoes are roomy enough to accomadate the swelling amd extra cushioning you should have.
