Rhomboid muscle hurts

I hurt my upper back muscle in martial arts. It hurts when I breath heavy, twist, and to the touch. It has hurt for a few weeks and is not getting any better. I’ve tried heat and stretching, but the pain stays the same. Please help

    cback,

Are you sure the pain is coming from the rhomboid? Describe the exact actions that caused the injury. Did you hear or feel a pop or snap? How quickly did the pain start? Any bruising, swelling or any other noticeable deformities? Comparing the right and left sides of your upper back, do you see any asymmetry?

Be careful and avoid any painful movements or exercises, and if it does not resolve soon get a good doc!
