rocket socs

the description of the various rocket socs is confusing-the lace-up, drytex and no stretch are listed as for propyhylactic and chronic sprains-the neoprene is for acute ankle sprains but the description for the no stretch “offers the same strapping system as the neoprene” for “chronic sprains and prophylacitc use”do they all do the same thing as is implied?which do you recommend for my ankle that has sustained numerous sprains in the past? THANK YOU

All of the Rocket Socks are meant to be used as a preventative. The Neoprene offers more warmth but some people are alergic to the neoprene(rubber) material also neoprene does not breath or allow for much sweat evaporation. The Drytex is a breathable material and does not have the alergic or heat reactions. I hope this gives a little information. The Active Ankles are popular with Volleyball players. The ASO is popular. The Bio Skin TriLok is new – it is slimline and easy to get in the shoe and effective but kind of complicated to put on the first time.
