rotator cuff

i have been on a weights programme and injured my left shoulder shoulder pressing free weights. the programme then progressed and doing a hang snatch has mildly torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders. the left though is far worse. my physio has strapped the left because I was carrying it higher than the right but he says that both shoulders sit too far forward and I need to work on my posture to continue with the weights. would a posture brace help or would I be better to work on it myself?

Poor posture is a result of tight muscles and lengthened/weak muscles. You should have a PT examine your posture to determine which are short and give you a stretching program for those muscles. Once your adequately stretched you begin a strengthening program for the muscles that have become weak due to your poor posture.
