rotator cuff

I’ve had three rotator cuff surgeries on my right shoulder,and been thru therapy, but still cannot raise my arm much above my waist.Can you tell me what muscle is not working and maybe give me an excecise to do that will help me.?.

    Man, who did your surgery? Did the same doc do it all three times? Usually the rotator cuff muscle that acts as a arm elevator is the supraspinatus, but there are other muscles that assist in that movement. The cuff surgery should have corrected your torn cuff and you should be able to lift your arm over your head. Have you talked to your doc about that? Did you do something you should not have after the surgery? Did you follow his instructions to the T???
