Rugby safe Acl Brace
Hello! I’m a rugby player that recently suffered an acl rupture, and I’m going in for reconstructive surgery soon. After my rehabilitation Ill need a “rugby safe” Acl brace to play. Meaning, no hard plastic or metal. Pliable plastic is fine though… Suggestions?

There really isn’t any. An ACL brace has to be firm/hard to revent further injury, thus preventing hyperextension on the knee in a manor to reinjure. Most soft sided knee braces will give you “support” but that all pretty much a bunch of crap. Two guys on my team have different taping techniques (duct tape) to restrict their knee from bending too far, but it does limit motion… then again, they’re backs and I don’t have all that much respect for them anyway. HAHA. Good luck!
