Runner’s Ankle
I have been running each day for about 6 years now. Recently, and quite suddenly, I have developed a severe pain in my inner ankle after I run on the treadmill. WHILE running, the ankle is fine, but immediately after I stop, there is severe pain right above the “round” bone on the INNER side of the ankle. Is this a tibial tendon problem? What should I do to alleviate this problem? Thanks

I recommend you see a podiatrist for an examination. Bring your running shoes with you. This might be a tendonitis, but it might be something else. A sonogram or MRI might be indicated.
