Saphenous nerve and ACL

I have suffered with knee pain for 6 months due to an inflammed (?trapped) saphenous nerveOn arthroscopy no neuroma was found on the nerve or other pathologyBut we did discover that the ACL was completely torn.Question. Could the remnents of the torn ACL be the cause of the nerve pain? Or the instability caused by the lack of ACL be the cause?Any thoughts?

I have had ACL and medial meniscus repair some 10 days ago. I have constant pain, not necessarily surrounding any of the arthroscopic sites, but due to an (inflammed, bruised, traumatized?) saphenous nerve. My leg and ankle remain swollen and are quite painful. How long might this persist and what can I do?
