: I’m 30 years old and have been diagnosed w/ the disease and spondylosis. I have been a farmer and coal miner since a young age and also played football from elementary through high school. Showed up on my first x-rays for football my freshmen year but was not told about it. Now I hurt mainly in the mornings or when I stay in one position for very long. If I stand or walk for very long periods I have a shooting or burning sensation from my knee down to my big toe in my left leg only. I have growth plates broke off my spine and my best disk being about 65%, w/ the one between L5 and S1 being the worst. Any suggestions? One Dr. says do nothing the rest of my life and another says stay active. Whats your take on the situation?
