Jeff,It depends on the cause of the scoliosis and the severity, as well as age. The longer you wait the less likelyhood that it can be corrected. You said the school nurse did the test where you take off your shirt and bend over. If someone can tell by that your probably pretty bad already. Don’t waste time you or your parents need to make an appointment now and at the very least find out how bad the spine is curved and if there is any change in rib shape/function. Best of luck.
