Sciatic and Pirriformis

I used to exercise every day, 30 mins threadmill, 1 hour bike, last December I started filling stiffness in my right leg, pain grows till I have pain in my groin area, I just can’t cross my right leg over the left one, pain just unbearable. 2 weeks ago I started with some stretching and I am feeling a lot better, it hurts but not that much, I want to exercise again, will bike and threadmill make it worst again? are there any specific exercise for my condition? Please advise, thank you.

    Just take it slow… Do only 5 minutes and see how you feel, then increase it 5 minutes every day. ..continue to do your stretches. Have you ever though of maybe taking up swimming? That would take the pressure off your spine during the activity.You may have been overdoing it a bit. Did you see a doc? Sometimes folks that overdo exercise they get hairline fractures. Just let pain be your guide…if it hurts don’t do it.
