Severe foot pain in both feet
(2 discussions)
I have had a hurting with severe pain in both feet for about 10 years. I have been dianosed with Peripheral Neuropathy, but I don’t think that is my problem. I have gone to 3 Podiatry, two tell me it is in my feet and another tells me it in my back. I have also gone to several neurologist and they put me on pain pills. No one here in my town can tell me anything. Now, I am getting a tingling feelint in my hands. Where do I turn.

From the description neuropathy is a possibility and it is difficult to treat because the causes are so varied. If there is a medical school near you, I suggest you contact the neurology departmentand see if you can be seen by one of the teaching doctors.

If you are sitting around a lot because of your foot pain it could cause nerve compression in your neck which affects your hands. That happened to me and I am working on my posture and exercises to open up the chest area. I’m also seeing a osteopath.
