Severe Pain in Left Leg

(2 discussions)

Appr three weeks ago I was walking across a room and suddenly felt and heard this POP behind my Left Knee – Right in the bend of my knee but on the back of my leg – I could not walk at all for a few minutes – then limped along – fianlly went to an Orthopedic Specialist on the second day after this happened – He took eRays and did not find broken bones – diagnosed it as a slight tear to a ligament or tendon – He wrapped my leg – ankle and from below the knee to above it – and told me to tke TYNENOL EXTRA STRENGTH if needed – Since then, I have taken two of these at least every six hours and still have excruciating pain – I have used LINAMIST daily and especially at night – Also have used THERABATH in a hot water soak at bedtime. Do you have any suggestions? Could this be a bloot clot – The Orthopedic Dr. said it is not – Just takes up to 5 or 6 weeks but certainly is not any better. owuld appreciate your opinion! Perhaps a second opinion is in order and some additional testing…MRI. Good luck

Since then I have alot of popping in right knee and in the back of legs behind the knee hit hurts. my legs do give out suddenly.
