Last week I got heavy neck pain and was unable to control my neck.On showing an allopathic doctor who suggested an x-ray, it was detected that my second and third vertebrae is possibly fused and al other details remaining O.K.doctor suggested heat treatment and traction which I am undergoing. Mean while I am unable to hold my neck straight even for a second and if I do so it goes up.Earlier after a delivery It was found that I am having sacrilisation of vertebrae I under went lot of medication in ayurveda homeopathy and allopathy before my pain in the legs have reduced. It is noticed that one of my aunt was completly bed riden because of paralysis. and two of my aunts who are over 70 years are unable to stand erect. I fear similiar future awaits meplease suggest whether my fusion of vertebrae will have any long term effect and what I should do aviod a paralysis. Please suggest what medicine and excercise I can take to keep my neck straight since even putting a colar doesnot help to keep it in position and I am unable to attend the office. I will be highly obliged to you if you please suggest medication and enlighten me of future care to avoid future fusion of any more vertebraes. Please help many thanksR sreevalsa dated 13 th Jan 2002
