Hi my partner is only 33 and is very dependant on his strength, all his life he has been sporty and his proffession is plastering hence his father wants to pass him down a business that he is unable to do! He loves his job but has been in and out of work for about 7 years with this back trouble! He has a slipped disc that is pressing on a nerve and has had scans and an operation and has now had injections like epidural and the other ones that you can only have a couple of times! this still hasn’t worked and now the hospital is trying to fob him off with pain management courses that only teach him to live with the pain not help cure it!Are there any operations that can help as this is getting to him physically and very much so mentally! For a man that relys on his strength and body so much it is not fair and is causing problems in more ways than one, He has tried all the therapies and none help or have any long term help, can you suggest anything?……..at all?

Hi! My Mom is suffering from Slip Disc, Pressing On Nerve Chronic Lower Back Pain Since 5 years. We have shown her to many doctors, but all of them have recomended to get operated. Is operation the only way out of this problem. We all are very much tensed about this ’cause it’s a very critical operation which is some where linked to the Brain. And if at all she gets operated, will she be absolutely normal? Will she be able to do her own work? Will there be any side effects? Could u please suggest me if U have any other way out of this. I’ll be grateful to U if U do so.Waiting for Ur reply. Thanking U.P. M. Waddepalli.

In india there are several places in kerala that can sucessfully treat back ailments that have failed over here. Its an ayurvedic treatment that is done for 4 to 5 weeks and then complete rest fr a short while. No more pain and return to normal life style. No surgery only natural thousands of year old therapy.one place I know off is Ayuryogashram.com. call or chek theirweb site. They are wonderfulgood luckU have noting to loose. there is no surgery or twisting or turninginvolved just simple massages and oil rubs using different tescniques

********************************I am wondering if anyone with this problem has tried the compression therapy, I think it’s called? They say 8 out of 10 people have really done better with this type therapy, over surgery, it is less invasive and less costly. Anyone here tried it yet? If so, has it helped?
