sounds to familiar

Hi,
I was just reading over a posting and that was my exact story.
I fractured my 5th metatasal in 2 places on July 7, 2013.
I went on the side of my foot from a semi truck.
It did not really hurt.
Well it is now Nov.9, 2013, and after 6 casts tones of x-rays,Tomagramms,cat scan I will be having surgery done on the 19th.
I am scared,and worried,sometimes I wonder if I will ever have a normal foot.
They will be taking bone graph from my heel,and putting a screw.
It is conforting to here Donnna,s story.
