Stress Fracture?
I need help. I have pain on the outside of my lower left leg. Approx. 1″ above the ankle. This was sustained from playing 3 soccer games in 1 day. I have been x-rayed and they show no fracture. The pain has been with me now for 2 weeks. I have not resumed playing as of yet. The doctor mentioned it could possibly be a ligament tear. Has anyone had a similar injury?

If this is a stress fracture, wait 6 weeks and go have another xray performed if the pain is not better. Stress fractures take 6 weeks to appear on xray. If you have any foot or leg interests, visit our site at http://www.podassociates.net
