swollen hand/numb fingertips

A few years ago I nicked the tendons in my wrist in an accident at work. Everything seemed to heal fine and such but now I am doing some work at a construction site and for a few days now my wrist hurts slighty and if I don’t watch it my right hand also swells up a bit but whats weird is my fingertips feel numb. What should I do? Thanks.
