swollen left ankle and foot

I have a permanently swollen left ankle and foot from about 5 minutes after rising in the morning.
I take 240mg verapamil sr daily for palpitations.
Could this be the cause?

There can be a number of causes of your swelling. If only one ankle swells, I might not be so quick to point the finger at the Verapamil. Things like injury, lymphedema etc need to be considered.
