syatic nerve and am I crazy?
I have major pain in my lower back, and my M.R.I. showed no bone damage that was taken in August of this year and it is now October and I am getting worse. I can’t do the only job I knew how to do and was any good at anymore, nurses aid. Now it feels like someone is pulling my lower spine right out of my back. it’sdown right above the tail bone and the pain is usually piercing till it finally locks up? I have Lorecet 10\650 for a tooth ache and that doesn’t even take the pain away. I can’t sleep, I can’t hardly do any house work what can I do? Also does the pain a syatic nerve cause go away or does it pretty much stay with you? I have a list of medications I have tried everything from nyproxin to percocet 10, and I can’t get a decent Dr. to try to help me.they all tell me to get over it. Please Help!

you are not crazy. Try Tai chi and also chronic pain relievers such as duralgesic. this drug can be addictive so use it wisely, with intermittant days between patches. I am coping with it.

It I WERE YOU I WOULD TAKE ALL THE INFORMATION THAT YOU HAVE ON YOU BACK GATHER ALL TOGETHER, IMEAN GET EVERY MEDICAL RECORD YOU CAN GET. AND I MEAN DOWN TO THE LAST PAGE. CALL A PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR AND IF YOU HAVE THE TIME YOU CAN ALSO LOOK UP HIS REFERENCES. BECAUSE I HAD SEVERE BACK PAIN AND LIVED ON TYLENOL 4, AND A LOT MORE THAN WAS PRESCRIBED TO EVEN TOUCH THE PAIN A LITTLE BIT. AND THEN I WENT TO AN ADVANCED PAIN DOCTOR. BECAUSE FIRST THEY THOUGHT IT WAS JUST IN MY HEAD AND THEN THEY SAID I WOULD JUST HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT. WELL SINCE I HAVE BE SEING THIS DOCTOR ISNT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT IT WAS BECAUSE HE DETERMINED TO FIND WHAT CAUSED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. SO THAT WOULD BE MY SUGGESTIONS, MAYBE YOU HAVE DONE THAT ALREADY BUT I AM GLAD I DID IT, I HAD BEEN IN PAIN FOR 4 YRS LIVING ON PAIN MEDICATION I COULDNT WORK OR ANYTHNG WITH OUT .
